my toma magazine came in the mail! the clothes i ordered came too!! ~.~

this week, the toma magazine i ordered came in the mail! the clothes i ordered from delia's came too! yeyyyyy!! actually both of them were shipped from the east coast, so there was some delay because of hurricane sandy. thankfully, this was the only inconvenience the super storm caused for me. i hope by now a lot more people have their power back on the east coast, because it's really cold there now. =/

they packed them carefully in cardboard, so my toma magazine (The Television) and volume 1 of the manga i love, koi nanka hajimaranai, were all not bent at all. =) i love the smell of a brand new magazine or book! hehe. oh, i forgot to take a pic of the magazine opened up! maybe i'll take a pic later and add 2 this post. i love toma's blue sweater in this photoshoot. so cozy! 

so...i rarely buy clothes, but recently i decided to buy a bunch of clothes to reward myself since i've been working hard + stressed out about some stuff. YEY, NEW CLOTHES!!! ~__~

DELIA'S is a really great place to shop for clothes online!! the quality of the clothes is great and there are a lot of pretty, unique styles of clothing. it's a little pricey, but i highly recommend it! they ship internationally too. if you register there they will send you coupon codes often and you can always do a search for coupons. retailmenot.com is great. i saved $20 on my recent order thanks to them! =) actually, it's only the 2nd time that i've bought clothes there this year, but i think i'll always buy there from now on.

i ordered these, but then later canceled them because i'm afraid the real color is way different from these pics. i saw the left one in the catalogue and the color was not nice! and the description of the right one said "grey". O_O in the pic, it looks like it should be light blue, right?? i guess in general, the things you buy might be a lot darker colored than what you see online. it's kind of risky, but with delia's, at least the color is pretty close. 

the black hooded coat, necklace, and bikini, i ordered just recently, so they haven't been shipped yet. 

i have never bought a bikini before, this is my 1st time!! ^////^

cuz it's on sale and it's so cheap!! and i like the purple floral pattern. so pretty!! ^_^ (despite the polka dots parts. i don't like polka dots) the top and bottom used to be around $20 EACH, and now it's like $6 EACH!! what a bargain!! xD i know it's almost winter now, but i don't plan on ever wearing them to the beach, anyway. lol. it's just cuz i want to finally have a bikini. hahaha... (goodness, i hope it'll fit. buying outer stuff is easy, but the size on this has to be precise...i hope i chose correctly and they are accurate with the sizing. i used a measuring tape and followed the instructions on the size chart carefully!)

i was disappointed with the color and texture of some of the tops. that's what i hate about buying clothes online. some of them only look good online! but at least they all fit me. i picked medium for everything except the black lacy dress, which they only had small left. luckily i got the small, though, cuz the top was still a little big for me. that 1 reviewer was right about how that dress runs large.

i really like this pink/black floral dress!!! somehow the colors look dull in picture, but it's actually more bright and pretty. it fits perfectly and has a flowy bottom. you can't tell in the pic, but the sleeves are see-through. and the back bows are cute too! ~_~

oh, so i also bought nice knee-high suede boots!!! finally!! 

i guess i've wanted boots for a long time now. lol. i see so many girls in tv shows here and also japanese actresses wear boots and i get so envious! i just really like a dress/skirt or shorts + boots look. so stylish! it was on sale at the shoe store, only around $30!!! actually, the color is a nicer darker brown, but these are the best pics i was able to get of them. 

i bought a lot of tights. here are some of them. i think i have a slight obsession with tights or knee socks. lol. it's partly because i don't have nice legs so it's nice that these things can make my legs look better. lol... btw, i have to get the LARGE size even though according to the size chart, i should fit into a SMALL. does anyone else have this problem?? so weird... (i had to return my tights, so the middle one looks messy, cuz i didn't fold it properly after trying it on. =P)

i also bought catnip sushi toys for the 2 stray cats i've been taking care of and our Stripey (yes, he's still here, because her friend can't take him yet cuz he is living in a place that doesn't allow pets. AND because i think she has grown too attached to him and thinks of him as HERS now. hahahaha... O_O). it kinda does look like sushi!! so cute!! ~__~ 

btw, Mangey Cat (the mom cat of the 2 stray cats) has started to rub against my leg recently! awwww. she makes the cutest sounds when she's hungry/wants attention too. now that the weather is colder and gets down to around 50something (or maybe even 40something) degrees F at night, i made a little shelter for them out of an empty container with a lid. it's on its side, with the lid partially covering it to keep out cold air. i added a big fluffy towel (actually i took the pics of the boots and tights on that towel be4 i put it outside for them!! it's that blue-ish towel above! xD) i bought ESPECIALLY for them (it wasn't cheap either! the tag has a crown logo on it!!!) and catnip toys shaped like mice and sushi. BUT GUESS WHAT? only the black kitten (female, too, i found out! ~_~) goes inside sometimes. Mangey won't go in, even when it rained yesterday. O__O sigh... but at least they both like playing with me sometimes. i kick the toy balls and they chase it. lol. they run really fast, actually! 

wow, why did i write so much??!! xD thanks to anyone who read the whole thing. hahaha...
