i see. =) even though i didn't like the movie, but if it wasn't for this movie, i wouldn't know about this great book, so i guess at least i can be thankful for that. it was released in 2008 and on the bestsellers list, yet i didn't know anything about it until now. xD

hmm...i guess part of it is that people are sick of twilight and twilight-like movies? the actors are not popular and not especially good-looking? lol. and the movie got a lot of bad reviews, too. yes, it's too bad. but at least the book has been selling well on amazon recently. i think it was in 2nd place, even. hopefully the movie gets more people curious and they'll go read the book.
