so i went to the beach on a cloudy day and everything was grey and boring. here in california, we're having "june gloom", which means that most days and nights are cloudy. i hate it cuz i can't see the stars/moon that much at night before the clouds come and cover everything. but at least cuz of this, the weather is still pretty cool, though it's already summer. i love the mild, mostly cool + sunny california weather. hehe...


i saw this genji poster at the dvd place at mitsuwa last week!! hehe. i guess it's possible for me to rent/buy the genji dvd there, but it would still be in japanese and i wouldn't understand anything. and i think a lot of the stuff they sell are japanese-region only. maybe they assume most japanese ppl here have region-all dvd players or something?? I HOPE SOMEONE WILL SUB GENJI SOON!! maybe a lot of toma fans have already watched the raw by now, but i'd rather wait for the subs...




i was really sad to find out that the sanseido japanese bookstore at mitsuwa is closing down!!!! =,( the japanese bookstore kinokuniya will take over this space, but it will not be the same... >__< i've always liked sanseido more cuz they have more magazines and stationary & i liked the layout +ppl that worked there more... i've been going here for 3 years now, and i've bought so many toma magazines and bday cards for toma and other cute japanese stuff here.... i really hope that by the time kino opens in july, it will be similar to how it used to look + still have a nice big stationary/pens section. right now only a very limited selection of magazines and manga out front, and the rest of the place is blocked off. i just saw a hole in the black tarp thingy they were covering everything up with and took this pic. =/

i bought this cute frog plushie for kitty to play with. hehe...
he loves biting it. i was hoping he would learn to hug it, but not yet. T__T


here is our stripey kitty now... he's grown a lot! not as cute as before
and now he just climbs on everything and jumps so high and
pretty much does whatever he wants! >.< 
so tough to keep him from certain places in the house...
but he still looks cute when he's sleeping. hehe...

wah~! mitsuwa.. it’s look like grocery ne- and you can found lot of cute thing inside this store.. huargh.. envy you.. here.. in my country only have Kinokuniya… and.. recently we only got new place to visit.. called Tokyo Street.. [it’s like small booth..hurm I already post about it on my journal]
