*^-^* my TOMA BDAY celebration♥ + Genji review + KOI NANKA HAJIMARANAI manga♡ + random pics!! ~.~
SUNFLOWER (of course i had to get it, cuz of toma's new drama!! ^.^) and autumn leaves window decals!!!! i love these!!! it makes it feel more like fall. ~_~ i stuck them on my bedroom window. hehe...
ok, this is super late, but here's how i celebrated toma's bday! ^_^
also, a mini-review of the Genji movie. and my shoujo manga recommendation: koi nanka hajimaranai!! and LOTS OF PICS!! xD
on toma's birthday, i fangirled with other toma fans at twitter, ate some Pocky, ate curry for lunch, and went to book-off to buy manga (mostly koi nanka hajimaranai~). *__*
.....here's some other special things i got to do in the next few days:
--on oct.7, there were some special new halloween episodes of Good Luck Charlie and Austin and Ally. yey!! ^^ not toma-related, but i thought it was cool that it aired on oct.7 (oct.7 in my timezone, which is oct.8 JST, but still!! xD)
--i watched TFGirls' subbed Another Sky. ~__~
-- i watched Genji Monogatari!! ^_^ v
well, like half of the movie, since half of it was about the other guy (too lazy 2 look up his name, but he's toma's senpai). xD no subs, but i could tell what was going on, in general.
TOMA'S VOICE IS SO~ NICE!!!! <3 that was what i first noticed. i think cuz i like hearing his soft-spoken, serious voice???
it was a good movie!! toma's genji is a handsome guy that seems to truly love all the different women he goes out with. or, more like, stays in with. lol. the love scenes were pretty good. not too sexy, not that awkward. except there was 1 kissing scene that i thought was weird!! xD the special effects were awesome, too!! but this movie was SO QUIET. toma's acting was great and he looked gorgeous, as expected, but i didn't like how they made toma and everyone look so pale. >_< but the clothes and scenary were beautiful. a lot of pretty imagery... i'll watch it again when the subs are released! :D

I LOVE THIS MANGA!!!♡♡♡♡ kanna and makoto are a super cute couple!!! <3
the art style is really pretty and cute, too. i'm so glad i randomly picked it up at book-off. it's called koi nanka hajimaranai (love won't begin). i love it so much, i later looked for and bought almost every volume (can't find vol.1! =T)!! but the thing is, it's not completely scanlated yet. but new chapters are coming later this year!! yey!! you can read it here (and also at mangafox and other major manga sites). i know the summary sounds like a typical manga love story, but just try reading it, i think you'll like it!! ~___~

i also got some (chocolate almond crunch + strawberry heart-shaped!) pocky
and this hawaii brand juice drink, strawberry lilikoi.

curry at a small japanese/chinese fusion restaurant where the staff and customers were all talking in japanese. i think this is more of a chinese style curry though. =T it tasted ok...
it's getting cold at night, so i bought these cute blue knit cut-off/mitten gloves!!
and that's my book-off bag. hehe.

didn't buy these, but the covers are pretty!! i love the 2nd one, with the couple standing under the moon (i love the moon/moonlight!! ~__~ my real name means moon. i'm a little obsessed with the moon... xD).
during the days after toma's bday, it often rained/was cloudy in the morning, then the rest of the day was nice and breezy (cool), with lovely white puffy clouds like this! i think here, it often rains around toma's bday...
i prefer jamba juice, but i like smoothies/slushies from places like Lollicup too! this pretty pink drink is a strawberry/lychee slush, with jelly. hehe...

oh wow. i just looked up that drama and the story is very similar! xD i love reading about couples that for some reason, live together and start falling in love with each other. hehe...^^

haha and even though it's annoying sometimes that they portray the girl as being too dense and it takes forever for them to confess their feelings, you just can't stop reading xD

omg, she can be very annoying, i know. =P always crying and misunderstanding stuff. yessss! the official confession took so long 2 get to. lol. there's some annoying things about the manga, but it's still so cute and i really love it. heehee.

yup yup that's why i'm still reading it haha :D atleast unlike Playful Kiss, the guy is not a complete jerk here and it's sweet how he takes care of her in his own way :)

yes, i really like kanna!! even though he teases her a lot, but he's such a sweet boyfriend and he does try to make her happy. he's just so cute too. <3
