well, you know i really love The Host right now, so of course i love jake abel because he plays the role of ian. but then i looked up his past major roles and i like most of them!! though he often was the bad guy, but i'm sure that will change now that he's gotten more popular because of the host. his characters luke and adam are both so misunderstood and tragic!! =( mark was a jerk at first, but later he redeemed himself.

jake is 25 right now. he's not super handsome or photogenic (it would help if he didn't always gell his hair back and have stubble all the time!! xD). and sometimes he just has this evil look? or he sometimes looks like a farm boy from the south because of his big teeth, long face, and stubble. lol.

but he is a great actor!! he has a kind of "cool guy" vibe, but he really seems like a down-to-earth, nice guy. he's cute, clever, funny, and straightforward, too. and he always puts a lot of genuine emotions into his scenes, even if he only has a few short scenes in a movie. he's just really likable.... he makes the most of all his scenes, and you just get....strong feelings for his characters!! i think he's got a lot of potential and i hope he'll get more of a variety of roles, since he's mostly had fantasy/sci-fi roles. i'm looking forward to seeing him as luke castellan again in this summer's percy jackson: sea of monsters movie!! i hope he has more scenes than the 1st movie. lol.

and in The Host, he is just completely different!! it's nice to see his gentle, romantic side!! =) he looks cuter/younger in here too. xD
