so my sister and i went to the concert on june 21, the first show on their tour!!
but then afterwards i got sick/busy/etc., so didn't get a chance to choose my favorite pics + write about it until now, a whole month later!! wow.

maybe cuz i only really liked a few songs from the new CD, or i just feel like i'm getting too old for this stuff, but i didn't enjoy the concert that much. =( and it was only 1 hr 15 min long!!!!! 15 min shorter than last year, and 1.5 hrs is already short!! i think victoria justice was singing a little longer than they did!! or at least she had equal time on stage. i should have realized earlier... she is not just an opening act. it's like half of the concert is hers, since the title of the concert is "BIG TIME RUSH AND VICTORIA JUSTICE, SUMMER BREAK TOUR 2013"

oh well. it was still fun to be there, watching them sing and dance. and seeing everyone excited because of them. =)

THERE WAS NOT MUCH COSTUME CHANGES AND NOT MUCH CONFETTI/GRAPHICS IN THE BACK. it was a little boring cuz of that...and things felt rushed. they didn't talk to the audience or seemed as cheerful. THEIR CONCERT LAST YEAR WAS MUCH MUCH BETTER. =T i think their show being cancelled definitely affected the funding they got for their concert tour, so no wonder it is not as great as last year's. LUCKILY I WENT LAST YEAR!! people who only went this year missed out on so much stuff.

i found out from tumblr fans that they only had 1 week to rehearse (they were busy promoting the CD) and so i guess that's why my sister said they seemed tired. i didn't really notice, but now that i think back, they did seem a little messy for some dance moves and singing.

i hope that now that they don't have a nickelodeon show anymore, they can transition to more mature (not sexy, but just not too kid-friendly and covering the same topics all the time: partying, follow yr dreams, etc.). BUT i'm worried that without the tv show they won't be able to compete with 1D, justin bieber, etc. AND i'm worried i'm gonna like them less, anyway, without the tv show to feel "closer" to them and like i know them. well, the tv show was getting less and less funny, anyway, and they don't look as cute as they used to, let's face it. lol.

i dunno....

i would like to keep supporting them, but they really gotta have better songs, or else i'll find it hard to continue being their fan. i've always been kind of a casual fan, anyway...

LOOKING THRU ALL THE PICS AND VIDEOS AND GIFS ON TUMBLR, THERE WERE SO MANY MOMENTS I MISSED, CUZ I WAS BUSY TAKING PICS OR NOT LOOKING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!!

i didn't know carlos AND kendall both kissed the worldwide girl on the cheek! lol.

or that they did a hipthrust in 1 of the songs that every1 keeps reblogging. lol.

some things i remember from the concert:

.kendall went off stage to shake hands/wave to fans a few times.

.kendall and carlos rapped a little (the rap that the girl did in the song in the cd)

.think kendall threw his guitar pick into the crowd, and also his hat? and carlos threw a towel. lol.

.carlos was still the most cheerful and smiled the most. 2nd was james, then logan, then kendall, i think

BEST PART OF THE CONCERT:

kendall looked in our direction and waved/waved it his hand around/sang <3

i had trouble finding him at first, but finally saw him near carlos, on the left side. near the end of the song, he looked in our direction. yeyyyyyyyyy!!! i was so happy and waved at him/waved my hand to the beat of the song. THIS IS THE CLOSEST I WILL EVER GET TO HAVING EYE CONTACT WITH HIM. LOL.

this was during the part that they each went into the audience, like midway of the theater (for the boyfriend song) and then sang "we are" from there. and kendall asked everyone to not record/take pics for this song and just enjoy it and wave around their phones in the air. awwwwww. ~____~

i love kendall's playful/cocky attitude, when they introduced each other. lol.

i didn't even remember/notice it, though!! probably distracted with taking pics.

this was right after the 1st song. i think they were surprised they were able to pull it off after only 1 week of rehearsing? lol.
they had this surprised/whew look on their face!!

1 of my favorite places, JAMBA JUICE!! look at all the huge yummy fruits!
i didn't have time to go in and buy a smoothie though. =T

the inside of the gibson theatre. it's very dark and classic looking...it looks old.
no wonder they're going to get rid of it so that they can build the harry potter world.

just dark enough in the theater so that i can't take selfies. haha. the seats were kind of cramped.
not enough leg room! i bumped my leg on the cup holder thingy pretty bad.
