maybe cuz i only really liked a few songs from the new CD, or i just feel like i'm getting too old for this stuff, but i didn't enjoy the concert that much. =( and it was only 1 hr 15 min long!!!!! 15 min shorter than last year, and 1.5 hrs is already short!! i think victoria justice was singing a little longer than they did!! or at least she had equal time on stage. i should have realized earlier... she is not just an opening act. it's like half of the concert is hers, since the title of the concert is "BIG TIME RUSH AND VICTORIA JUSTICE, SUMMER BREAK TOUR 2013"
oh well. it was still fun to be there, watching them sing and dance. and seeing everyone excited because of them. =)

i have been re-watching hana kimi, so all the nakatsu love i've been feeling made me want to write a nakatsu x mizuki fic! xD it's not an especially good or unique story, but please do read it and comment!! haha. i spent a few days on this and really tried to keep them in character and consider the timeline... it was fun to kind of get in Nakatsu's head and just be in the hana kimi world again.

a little possessive of her here. ^_~)
(note: i think most nakatsu x mizuki fics, they write mizuki as "him" because it's from nakatsu's perspective. but that seems weird to me, so i'm just gonna use "her". because it's not really from his perspective, i guess it's mostly third-person narrative mode.)
"Mizuki...what happened today, anyway? You seem upset but you won't tell me anything. Does it have something to do with Sano?" Nakatsu quietly asked, as they walked past the fountain of their school. recently i watched a korean drama with my family and i just didn't like it much... then i just happened to find a japanese drama dubbed in our language at the place where we rent dramas and it's nino's old drama, Ryusei no Kizuna! we've only watched 2 episodes, but we all really like it. it's so cool to be able to see nino and ryo on my tv instead of my computer, and all this time, i've only watched dramas with toma in it. lol.
so i finally decided to look for other good japanese dramas to watch, and i found a lot! :) i thought i would share my list here and if anyone has any suggestions (japanese dramas or movies), please comment! ~_~

well, you know i really love The Host right now, so of course i love jake abel because he plays the role of ian. but then i looked up his past major roles and i like most of them!! though he often was the bad guy, but i'm sure that will change now that he's gotten more popular because of the host. his characters luke and adam are both so misunderstood and tragic!! =( mark was a jerk at first, but later he redeemed himself.
jake is 25 right now. he's not super handsome or photogenic (it would help if he didn't always gell his hair back and have stubble all the time!! xD). and sometimes he just has this evil look? or he sometimes looks like a farm boy from the south because of his big teeth, long face, and stubble. lol.

i just watched the movie yesterday. after around 1 month of being excited about it, i was extremely, completely, utterly disappointed. was i really stupid for expecting more from the movie? i mean, the book is great!! =(
What upset me the most was that I love Ian x Wanda, but they barely developed their relationship at all. Nothing much happened between them, and then one day they're suddenly in love. what the hell?? at least they had more scenes together. jared and wanda barely interacted. just a bunch of jared x melanie kisses from flashbacks.
i wrote a review at The Host's yahoo movies page, and i gave it 2 out of 5 stars (the average, 3.5 stars, is too generous!). this is what i wrote:

a pretty hallway at the Grand Californian Hotel, next to the garden
so, for my birthday weekend (feb.9-10), we went to this fancy hotel at disneyland, to the california science center to see the space shuttle endeavor, and the getty museum!! it was a lot of fun and i love taking pictures of pretty places. hehe...

(ayaka and joutaro in the bar/cafe... i don't get her. is she using joutaro to force the gloomy guy to agree to officially be her boyfriend? i actually like her more than kahori, just because i don't like maki yoko, who isn't a good actress and i don't think she matches with toma.)
ok, so i actually decided that i'm going to quit watching this drama. i skimmed through episodes 4 and 5, and it just seems like it's more of the same boring, slow-paced, depressing stories with too many long awkward silences. i just can't stand dramas like this. i thought i'd keep watching no matter how bad it is, because toma's in it, but i realized that i should not force myself to watch it if i don't like it. i mean, i don't even like toma's character!! i think his boyishness/awkwardness when he's talking about/with ayaka (his crush) is supposed to be charming, but to me, it is annoying and sometimes i think he's overacting a little.
sigh...this is the first time i'm not finishing his drama. i hope no one hates me for this, i already feel guilty about it. but it's not like i have to like EVERYTHING toma is in just because i'm his fan, right? i shouldn't feel bad about it. i'm feeling relieved, actually. now i'll have more time to do other stuff. and if anything interesting happens in the drama, i'm sure i will (or have already) see it on tumblr! haha...
i guess mostly japanese people use it, but there's people from many different countries there.
